[A ruled advertisement in white and cream lettering on a solid black rectangle, framed by a thin rule, with the Salon line printed on the paper below the frame. Typographic, with no engraved drawings. At the upper left the year “1924” stands in heavy cream numerals and “SALON DU CYCLE” in condensed capitals below it, and at the upper right the year “1954” and the stand numbers and hall are set in the same condensed type. The center is a cluster of cream discs of different sizes, each with a halftone dot shadow along its lower edge and each carrying a brand name in bold condensed capitals with the product in lowercase beneath. A very large central disc holds a black bar with the italic words “les spécialités sélectionnées” and the name “CANETTI” in heavy slanted capitals, with the lamp brand “OSA” above it and “PHILIPS” below it, each lettered in a burst of short radiating lines. The disc for the chain brand “VELO” carries a small round emblem with a letter Z set inside concentric circles. The firm name, address and telephone number run along the foot of the black panel in two lines of cream capitals, the lower line giving the terms of sale. No artist signature is visible and no text shows through from the reverse of the leaf.]
