BIANCHI. IT HAS WINNER WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.
Since 1885 Bianchi bicycles have earned their superior reputation the world over.
Victories in over 1000 grueling international racing events include Fausto Coppi’s and Felice Gimondi’s world road championships plus many national and world track championships.
WE’D LIKE TO CALL YOUR ATTENTION TO OUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
You’ll find the unparalleled technology and craftsmanship that has bred this line of champions in all 12 of the Bianchis now available in America.
Each is meticulously designed and manufactured to offer an exceptionally balanced combination of strength, lightness, handling ease, comfort, safety and price.
So whether you’re choosing a bicycle for recreation, commuting, touring, sport or serious racing, you’ll discover a Bianchi model that offers both superior quality and superior value.
Bianchi. There are no substitutes. Only compromises.
FRAME DESIGN: Each Bianchi frame is specifically designed for its use: road racing, track racing or touring.
HUBS: For light weight, high performance and easy removal, all Bianchis have forged light alloy hubs with both front and rear quick-release mechanisms.
DERAILLEURS: Bianchis feature a superior Campagnolo, Suntour or Shimano derailleur perfectly matched to gear range and component group. Most are of light alloy.
SPOKES: To ensure perfect roundness and long life, all Bianchi wheels are built with 14 gauge spokes in a four-cross pattern. Most are of stainless steel.
GEARS: Most Bianchis offer 12-speed gear systems. 10-and 18-speed systems are also available.
[A black page with two headings in white condensed capitals and an introduction in white serif type at the left, and five short notes on frame design, hubs, derailleurs, spokes and gears at the right, set around part of a bicycle wheel with a gold-colored rim. The wheel runs off the right edge, where a vertical fold crease with cracked ink marks the binding, and a tan rule runs across the top of the text column; no folio appears.]

SEAT POST: All Bianchis have light alloy seatposts. Most are microadjusting for exact saddle positioning.
FITTINGS: To eliminate paint-chipping, rust-causing clips, all Bianchis have brazed-on control cable fittings. Many for shift levers and water bottles.
BARS AND STEM: All Bianchis feature engraved alloy handlebars, alloy stems and allen key fittings.
LUGS: For perfect frame alignment and strength, all Bianchis use only the finest precision pressed or cast lugs.
BRAKES: To ensure safe, smooth stops, all Bianchis feature center or side-pull alloy brakes from Campagnolo, Dia-Compe or Universal.
RIMS: For higher performance and lighter weight, all Bianchi rims are of light alloy.
FRAME TUBING: For high quality, lightness and strength, all Bianchis have either Columbus or Bianchi double-butted tubing. (A.R. or CrMo)
TIRES: For easier pedaling, all Bianchis are equipped with 90 or 100 lb. high pressure, wired-on tires or tubulars by Bianchi or Clement.
CRANKS: For efficient power transmission and ease of maintenance, all Bianchis use strong, light, alloy cotterless cranks from Campagnolo, Sakae and Shimano.
