[A ruled advertisement set entirely in type, in black on a tan ground, with a thin single-line rule round the panel. No drawing or photograph appears. The head is stacked in four sizes: “Spécialité de” in a heavy italic sans-serif, “Roues de pédalier” in very large heavy sans-serif capitals and lower case spanning the full width, “en acier” in heavy italic set flush right, and “et pignons pour cyclomoteurs et motos” in a condensed sans-serif on two centered lines. A single asterisk stands centered below as a divider. The firm’s name “H. BEAUSSUZET” follows in large, widely spaced condensed capitals across the full width, with the Saint-Étienne street address beneath it in a bold condensed face, the town name in lighter spaced capitals and the telephone line between two dashes in a small sans-serif. A thin horizontal rule closes the panel above a last line in italic sans-serif that names the Paris depot. No signature or agency mark is present.]
[This advertisement shares page 192 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Campagnolo and SIM, each held here as its own record, and one for Vickers.]
