[A ruled advertisement in black and white, framed by a thin single border and set in a tall format. At the head, two centered lines in a slab-serif face read “Depuis 60 ans” and “les Selles de Grandes Marques”, and the name “BAURIAT” follows in very large heavy sans-serif capitals that span the full width. In the middle a leather saddle is drawn from above in fine line engraving with hatched shading, its narrow nose at the left and its broad rear at the right; the word “BROWN” appears in small lettering on the leather along both sides, and rivets, a slotted cutout and a keyhole-shaped opening are drawn on the top. Below the saddle the name “BROWN” repeats in equally large heavy capitals, then two centered lines in the slab-serif face and, last, the small line of spaced capitals announcing the stand.
