[A small horizontal advertisement whose whole ground is a dotted halftone tint carrying the line of hand-lettered italic capitals above, repeated over and over in close rows (nine times in all), without accents, the items separated by low dashes. Over the tint sit three white panels: an upturned triangle at the upper left with “PARIS / PROVINCE / UNION FRANÇAISE”, a downturned triangle at the lower right with “EXPORT / IMPORT”, and at the center a rectangular cartouche with a heavy shadowed rule, carrying the founding date, the firm’s name in large shaded display capitals and the address. Directly under the cartouche a solid black rounded bar, mottled in the printing, covers the tint; no lettering shows through it, and it may be a line blocked out on the plate. No signature or agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 122 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Pivo and Gouverneur, each held here as its own record, and others for the Elie Huin vélomoteurs and motorcycles and the Mochet voiturette.]
