[A small ruled advertisement in a frame with a heavy black shadow along the right and lower edges. At the left a stippled drawing shows a spoke wrench cast in an S-shaped curve with two dark slotted heads, one at the upper right and one at the lower left, and the name “VAR” lettered along its upper arm. At the right the text is centered in light sans-serif capitals, with “VAR” very large, one line in italic, “MONTEUR 52” in bold and the trade line in a condensed bold face. The firm’s name and address run in spaced bold capitals along the foot. No signature or agency mark is visible.]
