RUTTER

S.A.R.L. F. RUTTER, 175, Av. FÉLIX FAURE, LYON, Tél. : M. 42-32

[An advertisement in a single ruled frame, drawn almost entirely in clean outline. The brake list runs around three sides of the panel in sans-serif capitals separated by centered dots: up the left side, across the top and down the right side. The whole panel is filled by a large outline drawing of a side-pull caliper brake seen from the front, its two arms curving down to the brake shoes with their acorn nuts and three-lobed shoe plates at the lower left and right, the cable-adjuster bolt rising at the top, and two large hexagon nuts at the pivots. The name “RUTTER” is set in very large light sans-serif capitals across the middle of the drawing. The firm’s name and address run along the foot. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P.” is printed small and vertically at the lower right corner, inside the frame. No signature. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper.]

[This advertisement shares page 125 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Guttacoll, held here as its own record.]
