Les manivelles trois branches A. DUPRAT

[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. The old Saint-Étienne house of A. Duprat has long made its mark by the quality of its manufacture, and its “Professionnels” cranks have won a fully justified reputation, their chief characteristics being precision, lightness and elegance. The author now turns to M. A. Duprat’s latest creation, the three-arm crank of the Universel type, a new model expected to have great success. The Universel is a crank with three attached arms, of remarkable appearance and for everyday use. Its chief advantage is its cost price, which proves lower than that of the classically shaped three-arm crank: a real saving for the constructor who equips his machines with the Universel, with the same advantages and the same performance. A special set of screws also allows two sprockets to be fitted. In short, M. A. Duprat, as a seasoned technician, has foreseen everything.]

[A column notice in a trade magazine, text only. The heading “Les manivelles trois branches A. DUPRAT” is set at the upper right in bold roman type with the name in capitals. The text below is in italic roman, with the name Duprat in small capitals and a few phrases in bold roman. A black round dot closes the notice at the foot. There are no drawings, no photographs, no signature, no address line and no stand number. A small blemish in the paper touches one word near the end of the fifth line of the second paragraph.]
