L’appareil PIGMY-RADIO
[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. The Pygmy-Sprint is a small radio set for bicycles and scooters that runs on batteries. The set fits on the handlebar, and its fixing system allows mounting on any bicycle, vélomoteur or scooter. On a bicycle the aerial is fixed to the fork with a clamp and an elbowed support; a fan washer (rondelle éventail) is to be placed between the clamp and the support and tightened hard. The aerial carries two insulating washers. The battery box is to be fixed at the rear, under the saddle or the luggage carrier, or it may be mounted nearer the set, on the frame or even on the handlebar. A four-conductor cable links the set to the battery box. The aerial wire must run along the fork and be soldered to the lug of the telescopic aerial. The batteries to be used are two 1.5 V cells of the flashlight type (type torche) and one standard 90 V cell. The voltage tap plate for 90 V is multiple and allows the use, failing the 90 V cell, of a 67.5 V cell.]
[A block of column text only, set mostly in italic type under a bold roman heading at the head of the column; the sentences on the fixing system and on the voltage tap plate are set in bold roman. A small solid round ornament closes the column at the foot. There is no picture, signature, address block or stand number. The type is faint at the left edge of several lines, with a few letters thinned but readable.]
