La "PLICYCLETTE" GITANE en pièces détachées
This is a magazine article, so its running text is summarized here rather than reproduced; the headline, byline, specifications and scores are transcribed as printed.
Le Cycle’s plate of the Gitane “Plicyclette” folding bicycle in its parts, page 23 of n° 51, October 1964, the Salon issue: an exploded drawing of the whole machine, signed by Daniel Rebour, with a short vertical text. The title is transcribed as printed; the text is summarized in Ebykr’s words, and the page image carries it in full.

La “PLICYCLETTE”
GITANE
en pièces détachées
[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. A short caption explains that the GITANE PLICYCLETTE, shown here completely taken apart, is a take-down bicycle that packs into very little space, and that it can be supplied in two versions: with a classic fork (fourche classique) and a double-pivot brake (frein à double articulation), or with a fork carrying brazed-on bosses (fourche à tasseaux brasés) and a cantilever brake (frein cantilever). It points out that the two fork models and their matching brakes are drawn at the right of the plate.]
[The plate is printed sideways and reads with the magazine turned a quarter turn clockwise. It carries one large exploded line drawing of the Gitane Plicyclette folding bicycle: the two-piece frame (a front section of head tube and main tube lettered “Gitane”, and the rear section with seat tube, stays and a folding joint with its locking lever), upright handlebars with grips, bell, brake lever and cables, the stem and headset parts, a seat post, a quilted mattress saddle and a tool bag, a rear carrier, a pump, the crank, chainring, chain and pedals, a kickstand, a chainguard lettered “Plicyclette”, a headlamp, a dynamo, a rear lamp, both wheels with their mudguards and stays, and two alternative front forks each with its brake, one a caliper and one a cantilever with a straddle cable. The drawing is signed “Rebour” once, in his boxed script, below and to the right of the chainring.]
[No folio is printed on this page.]
