[A knight in plate armor and a plumed helmet with a red and blue plume stands beside a black bicycle with a yellow-rimmed front tire, a long sword in one hand and a large yellow shield at his side, the shield carrying a white star-shaped flower in a ring of lettering. Behind him a castle rises on a hillside, and the field around him is strewn with tangled, wrecked bicycles and wheels. The sky is yellow and green, with SOCIÉTÉ at the upper left and LA FRANÇAISE in large blue capitals across the top.

The point of the picture is the tire: the knight stands unhurt among the wrecks, and the tire on his own bicycle is lettered PNEU DIAMANT.]
