[A full-page advertisement printed in green and black, without a border. A large solid green oval at the head carries the name “Huret” reversed out in a white script whose letters are drawn as lengths of round tube with cut ends showing. “MARQUE DÉPOSÉE” stands in small capitals at its left and “BREVETÉ FRANCE-ÉTRANGER” at its right, each over a short dash. Below, the product lines “Dérailleurs Avant et Arrière” and “Double-Plateaux, Écrous-Papillons” are set in widely spaced bold sans-serif, followed by a rule and a condensed sans-serif claim in which “Huret” is picked out in bold green, closing on “en 1950” in a wide roman. The list of eight races runs in light sans-serif with dotted leaders to a single tall green figure “1” with a small green “er” at its shoulder, against which the winners’ names stand in capitals, each after a dash. Double rules frame the bold appeal to retailers and a line in small green capitals pointing to the retail prices on the other side of the page. The foot carries “Renseignements :” in underlined bold italic and the firm’s name and Nanterre address across the full width in heavy condensed green capitals. No drawing, signature or agency mark appears. Faint lettering from the reverse of the leaf shows through in the upper left.]
