Made from the best tubing available—Reynolds butted ‘531’ is used throughout this thoroughbred frame which is hand brazed into the very popular long spearpoint Prugnat lugs and sloping shoulder fork crown. Normally built to 72° parallel angles with a 17½” rear triangle and 10½” high bottom bracket, an alternative of 73° angles is offered with shorter fork rake and higher bracket.

Distinguished by a fully sloping Italian fork crown of integral design with concealed reinforcements in the oval blades. Also has reinforced rear bridge with bushed hole and diamond shoulder fillets.
MISTRAL AND SUPER MODELS feature a strong rear triangle constructed from hollow 9/16″ stays fully wrapped over the seat cluster and capped with a steel facing gaining strength and appearance while saving the weight of solid top eyes.

Built as the Super Mistral with integral fork crown but with up-to-date design features —
Seat stays are set close behind the seat lug which is extended to carry a centre-pull brake hanger (unless not required). This produces a neat cluster and allows easy operation of the Campagnolo Quick Release seat pin bolt which is supplied.

DESIGNED FOR RACING —— ‘Professional’ frames have clean lines and close clearances. Best ‘531’ butted tubing is built into long spearpoint Prugnat lugs by low temperature brazing. Only ‘brazed-on’ parts are rear gear eye on ‘Road’ frame and no provisions are made for guards.

CAMPAGNOLO PATH ENDS ARE USED FRONT AND REAR WITH EXTRA RIGID 5/8″ STAYS WRAPPED OVER THE SEAT CLUSTER FITTED WITH CAMPAGNOLO ALLEN KEY SEAT BOLT. THE SHORT BACK GIVES IMMEDIATE RESPONSE AND REDUCES THE WHEELBASE TO APPROX. 39½” WITH 11-11¼” BRACKET HEIGHT.

TRICYCLE conversion SET
HOLDSWORTH CONVERSION SETS have allowed generations to enjoy the excitingly different thrill of handling three wheels. Cheaper than a trike. Offset to adjust height and wheelbase to correct tricycle design.
IDEAL FOR SPASTICS AND HANDICAPPED RIDERS
Safer under adverse road conditions — for cyclists of all ages.
DESIGN AND ASSEMBLY
Rapid fitment or stripping down is possible once the initial careful setting up has been completed. The offside wheel stub axle unclamps from the housing which is then passed through the rear triangle of solo machine. Bolts are inserted through the ears on the housing, serrated spacers and rear ends of frame. Wheel is replaced and stub axle bolted home by clamp on housing. Telescopic stays are fitted from long seat clamp bolt provided to outer lugs. To set up, fit chain, swing axle and/or adjust in rear end slots to obtain correct tension. Tighten all nuts, ensuring that wheels lie parallel to the frame which must be vertical. Designed to pass through standard door width for easy storage.
