[A full-page advertisement without a frame rule. At the top a pennant flies from a long lance that runs diagonally down through the whole design; the pennant is screened in fine dots and carries the Helyett label: the name in script above a round portrait of a young woman in a bonnet tied with a large bow, with “CYCLES-MOTOS” below. Beneath it a large black brushed cloud holds “CHAMPIONNE OLYMPIQUE” in white roman capitals and three bicycles drawn in white outline with dotted frames (a racing bicycle, a lady’s bicycle and a gentleman’s roadster), their wheels overlapping in a chain of rings, then the dates “1948” and “1952” in tall white figures. Below, the name “Helyett” in a large outlined, shadowed script, the slogan in hand-lettered script and the works address and stand line in sans serif capitals. Agency mark “GRAVEX” set vertically at the top left. Large type from the reverse of the leaf shows faintly through the paper at the right.]

[This advertisement shares page 83 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for NAP, held here as its own record.]
