[A wide, short advertisement in black and white set on a dense dotted gray ground, with a pale rounded strip along the foot for the address. At the left three dark license plates are drawn in a row against faint curved mudguard lines, each carrying the same white number and letters and each fitted with a different lamp: a streamlined lamp with a round lens on the first, a small rounded rectangular lamp on the second and a ball-shaped lamp on a short bracket on the third, which is tilted. The headline “PLAQUES DE POLICE ET LANTERNES” runs along the top right in outlined roman capitals. At the lower left the words “Pour motos et vélos” are written in heavy brush script. At the right a white circle holds the firm’s name “H. ARNAUD” in tall heavy capitals under a looping “Ets”, and a dark lower segment of the circle holds the trade description in small reversed capitals. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 220 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Stella, Pygmy-Radio, La Vipère and Chaluret, each held here as its own record, and others for Marcel Leroux, Anonyme Pratica, Emmanuel Bert et G. de Keravenant and Leon Sauniere.]
