[An upright ruled advertisement in black on the cream stock, the panel closed by a thin rule. At the head the opening phrase is set in bold italic sans-serif and runs into a stack of five lines of letter-spaced bold sans-serif capitals naming the machines, ranged to the right. “est exposé par” follows in bold italic at the left and “GUILLER FRÈRES” below it in large bold sans-serif capitals, the second word underscored by a short rule. The center of the panel is filled by a halftone photograph on a light ground showing a motorcycle in left side view, standing without a rider: a telescopic front fork with a headlamp in a nacelle, a rounded fuel tank, a long dual seat, an overhead-valve single-cylinder engine with the cylinder barrel and rocker box clearly showing, a chain drive, plunger or swinging rear suspension, a silencer running back low on the right and deep mudguards over both spoked wheels. Below the picture come the Salon line with its stand number in bold capitals, a telephone line with a long rule beside it, a line placing the hall and the gate, and the firm’s name with its town and department in letter-spaced capitals at the foot. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and nothing shows through from the reverse of the leaf; the right edge of the sheet curves into the binding beside the panel.]

[This advertisement shares page 104 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Derny, held here as its own record, and one for Marbon workshop tools for motorcycles.]
