[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a double frame. “FABRIQUE DE LUNETTERIE SPORTIVE” fills the upper left in very heavy black display capitals with a thick tapering rule beneath. At the upper right a pair of motorcycle goggles is drawn in line engraving with dense hatching, the padded frame and single curved lens seen at an angle with the elastic strap trailing to the left. At the lower left a face shield is drawn in the same manner: an adjustable head band with a short peak and a tall curved transparent screen hanging from it, strapped at the sides. The product lists are set in mixed heavy display capitals and light rounded sans serif, separated by black dots. The maker’s name “H. GRAND-CHAVIN-LAMY” runs across the foot in heavy capitals over “LES ROUSSES (Jura)” and a line giving the Paris depot, address and telephone. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P.” runs vertically in small capitals at the right edge. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through in places.]
