[A ruled advertisement in black and white with a double border. A line of heavy italic capitals, “CONSTRUCTEURS – AGENTS – DÉTAILLANTS”, runs across the head, above two lines of sans serif text in which “GNUTTI” and “nouveau blocage rapide” are set in bold. Two line engravings of quick-release skewers sit side by side beneath the text. The left skewer is a plain rod with a domed cap at one end, an angled lever laid across it carrying the word “GNUTTI” and a small winged emblem, and a knurled nut at the other end. The right skewer is the same lever and cap fitted to a hub axle with stepped sleeves, drawn with fine hatching. Under each drawing stands an interlaced italic monogram signature, Daniel Rebour’s DR monogram. Below, “Gain de temps au montage et au démontage” is set in a wide slab-serif face. At the lower left the Gnutti trademark shows a stylized bird with spread wings above a circle holding a small hub-like device, over the name “GNUTTI” in heavy capitals inside a rounded black frame. To its right two lines of slab-serif text lead into a list of four products in roman capitals, with “(sans clavette)” in small type. An italic underlined line names the distributor for France, and the distributor’s name and address in bold and condensed capitals close the panel. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through behind the upper drawings.]

[This advertisement shares page 32 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Persib-Lux, held here as its own record, and one for the Campagnolo derailleurs (held in the archive as record 75300).]
