[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a tall panel inside a thin border with a drop shadow, the border broken at the top by a rounded frame holding “GNUTTI” in very large heavy capitals and broken again at each side where the hub drawing runs across it. Below the frame “GRANDE MARQUE ITALIENNE” is set in heavy shadowed capitals, then a slanted italic “Présente….” and four centered lines of capitals listing the products. In the lower center a front hub with a quick-release skewer is drawn in fine line engraving: a long barrel between two perforated flanges, a pointed locknut at the left, a threaded freewheel body and an end cap at the right, and a long curved lever lettered “GNUTTI” with a small circular device beside the name; a small bird device is engraved on the barrel. Beneath the hub “et son” stands in slanted italic, then the product line in spaced capitals with a licence note in parentheses, a thin rule, and the importer’s name, address and telephone line in bold capitals. A small interlocked monogram of the letters D and R, sharing one vertical stem, is drawn in black line beneath the hub at the lower right, the signature of Daniel Rebour. No other signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for CLEM, held here as its own record, and others for Motowest and Vélowest lighting units for vélomoteurs, H2T two-stroke oil and the Alma cyclomoteur.]
