[An advertisement inside a wavy-ruled frame. The four-line announcement is set in a bold sans-serif at the head, with the explanation in a light sans-serif below it. Two finely engraved illustrations follow: at the upper left a leather saddlebag (sacoche) with a flap held by two buckled straps, and at the lower right a leather racing saddle with its rails and seat-post clip, its top carrying two oval plates, a small one lettered “CROUPON TRAITE / IMPERMEABILISE” around the edge and a larger one lettered “SELLE COURSE / SPÉCIALE COMPÉTITION / GALLET” with “FABRICATION FRANÇAISE” around the lower edge and the model number “28.S” in a small box. The bag and saddle descriptions are set beside them in bold and roman Clarendon-style type. The saddle types and the five brand names, in quotation marks, run across the foot in condensed sans-serif. No signature or agency mark. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper.]
