[Design: a ruled frame with a heavy drop shadow along its right and bottom sides; the top rule is broken by the first heading line, set in condensed capitals like the second. At the center is a fine engraving of the Gallet racing saddle in side view, its leather top finely hatched, with rivets along the edge, a small oval maker’s badge near the nose and a larger oval badge on the skirt lettered “SELLE COURSE”, “SPÉCIALE COMPÉTITION”, “GALLET” and “28 S” in a box, with “FABRICATION FRANÇAISE” [?] around the lower rim; the rails and clip show beneath the cantle. The text block is justified in a light sans-serif with the firm, town, show and model in bold, and its last line centered. No signature or agency mark found.]

[This advertisement shares page 39 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Liberty, held here as its own record, and one for the Mini-Motor auxiliary engine, below the end of the trade-union congress report.]
