Graduated Rikkyo University in 1951. Performance as competitor: 1st Asian Games in New Delhi, Japanese & American Match in Tokyo. Performance as Team leader/Coach: The 3rd Asian Games in Tokyo, Asian Championship in Seoul, The 5th Asian Games in Bangkok, World Championship in Frankfurt, San-Sabastian, Zurich, Milano, Amsterdam, Montevideo, Leicester and Brussel, Olympic Games in Tokyo and Mexico.
