[A full-page advertisement in green and black, without a border. A large green field angled like a pennant fills the upper left, carrying the four marque names, Griffon, Trophée de France, Météore and Aiglon, in heavy black sans-serif capitals with a white drop shadow, “de” set small between “Trophée” and “France”. Below, “les 4 grandes marques de la” is lettered in a black brush script, “grandes” underlined with a heavy stroke. A cream pennant shape edged with a sawtooth line at the left lists the products in black sans-serif capitals, with “de Qualité” in black handwriting script below and a broad black brush stroke under it. At the right “F.M.C” stands in very tall outlined capitals filled with a fine green halftone screen, set over a black shield shape that carries “Production de la France Motor Cycles” and “Mandeure (Doubs)” in white spaced capitals, divided by a small star; a thin rule ending in a star runs off it to the left. A small boxed monogram, apparently an interlaced “B”, sits in the lower left corner of the green field. There are no drawings of machines. A fold or crease runs vertically through the black shield.]
