PRODUCTION DE LA FRANCE MOTOR CYCLES A MANDEURE (DOUBS)

[A full-page typographic advertisement printed in black and red on a cream ground, with no picture. A red panel fills the page inside a narrow cream margin; across its top the initials “F.M.C” stand in enormous cream capitals with heavy black drop shadows, the points between them drawn as shadowed discs. Below the M and C a cream shield-shaped panel, rounded at the foot, carries the four brand names in heavy black sans-serif capitals (the “DE” of “Trophée de France” small and set low) and, under them, the line “Les 4 grandes marques de la” in red brush script over “FRANCE MOTOR CYCLES” in small red capitals and a red brush stroke. At the left, five tilted black labels with cream capitals list the product classes like a staircase, with “Nouveaux modèles 1952” in black brush script beneath them. A red band along the foot carries the production line in black capitals. A small agency monogram in white on the red ground, inside a rounded octagonal frame at the upper right corner, reads as a “B” with a smaller letter above it (possibly “SB”; not certain).]
