[A ruled advertisement in black and white, taller than wide, with a thin black border. The heading “CYCLO” stands in large widely spaced heavy capitals, with “type TOURISTE” beneath it. At the center a large round outline frames a line-engraved drawing of a rear derailleur system seen from the drive side: a cluster of toothed sprockets with the chain wrapped over them, a dropout and axle nut, a spring-tensioned jockey cage with a small numbered tab and a lower chain wheel, all lettered “CYCLO” on the cage. A short label in tall condensed type sits at each corner of the circle. Below, a line of light spaced type and a line of bold italic type with a wavy rule beneath it lead to a black oval mark in which a bicycle is drawn in white line, its frame and wheels forming the letters of the name, with a small “LE” above it and a tiny line of lettering beneath. The telephone line sits at its left and the town at its right. No street address is printed. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for SLP and Henri Gauthier, each held here as its own record, and one for Ragonot electric motors.]
