[A framed advertisement printed in black and green on cream, with a heavy black rule along the right and bottom edges. At the top a black rounded plate carries the name “Y. CUKIER” in large white capitals, with a thin curling flourish rising from its upper edge, set against a ragged green block at the left; the street address in black capitals sits just below. Down the right edge the word “FABRICANT” runs vertically, one capital per line. “CASQUES” is drawn in heavy shaded black capitals with “pour” small and “MOTOCYCLISTES” in tall condensed green capitals, and green capitals at the right give the material lines. A green panel at the left holds “TRÈS LÉGER” reversed out in white, and a green rounded panel at the lower right holds “PROTECTION EFFICACE” in white. Three helmets are drawn in line engraving with stippled shading. At the center a helmet is seen from above, an oval rim with six wedge-shaped panels radiating from a small octagonal label reading “MODÈLE YC”. At the lower left a dark helmet with a raised ridge over the crown and a chin strap is shown in profile on a head drawn in outline. At the lower right a second dark helmet made of seam-divided panels is shown three-quarter view on another outline head. Two thin parallel vertical rules run down the left margin. A signature reading “I.G.P.” stands at the lower left of the drawing area. Below the drawings the line for cyclists is set in black capitals, with “SERRE-TÊTE” between two double rules, and the telephone line sits at the lower right in bold black type.]

[This advertisement shares page 174 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Le Kangourou, held here as its own record, and one for the Déragne cylinder-boring machine.]
