[A typographic advertisement with no illustration. The headline “CHALURET 1952” in tall condensed capitals stands above the top frame rule, which breaks around it and runs out to left and right; a thin rule frame encloses the rest. Under the headline, a pale gray screened panel holds the tubular-tire tape line at the center, flanked by “53 fois champion du monde” at the left and “83 records du monde” at the right in italic capitals. The product names follow in heavy extended sans serif capitals, each with its description in condensed bold. The addresses, telephone numbers and stand number close the advertisement. The right edge of the advertisement runs into the binding in the BnF’s photograph: the right frame rule and the ends of five lines are lost and marked […] (probably “vernis)”, “tous”, “cycles”, “(Seine)” and the rest of the Chitenay telephone number). No signature or agency mark. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper.]

[This advertisement shares page 82 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Stella and Barral, each held here as its own record.]
