Starlet
The 14 in. “Starlet” models, with 20 in. wheels and caliper brakes are ideally suitable for youngsters who are probably going to own and ride their very first two-wheeler. Boys’ model has curved top rail giving extra saddle adjustment.
Finish is in electric blue or carmine, with two-tone saddle, cream guards, white toolbag and blue or red handlebar grips.
Girls’ Model J11 Boys’ Model J12
Star Sprite
The “Star Sprite” models are 16 in. machines, with 20 in. wheels and roller lever brakes. Like all B.S.A. Junior bicycles, they are sturdily built to withstand hard usage, and very easy running.
Finish is Venetian blue with cream guards; white saddle, white toolbag and grips.
Girls’ Model J3 Boys’ Model J4
Star Rover
The “Star Rovers” are the popular boys’ 17 in. and girls’ 18 in. models with 24 in. wheels. Both have all-rounder bar and caliper brakes. Girls’ model is finished in either electric blue or carmine, with powder blue trim. Boys’ in black and red or carmine and blue. Both have two-tone saddle, white toolbag and grips.
Girls’ model also available with raised bar and roller lever brakes; finish is electric blue or carmine.

Legionnaire
The “Legionnaire”—and the new equivalent model for girls, the “Collegiate”—are 18 in. machines with 26 in. wheels, all-rounder bars and caliper brakes. Both have Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub as standard, and are finished in either electric blue or carmine, with powder blue head and guards, two-tone saddle, white toolbag and grips.

Santa Fe
The “Santa Fe” is an entirely new 18/20 in. American-styled model with 26 in. × 1¾ in. wheels. Frame has curved top rail and front down tube and curved extended rear stays. It has Canadian type adjustable bar, alloy caliper brakes, Sturmey-Archer 3-speed and front carrier. Finish is Sunset yellow with Venetian blue trim, tan saddle, toolbag and grips.

Star Flyer
The 19½ in., 26 in. wheel “Star Flyer” range comprises boys’ and girls’ models with all-rounder bar and caliper brakes, or raised bar and roller lever brakes. Finish is electric blue or carmine, and the caliper brake models have powder blue trim. All have two-tone saddles, white toolbag and grips.

Star Rider
The B.S.A. “Star Rider” has, for some considerable time, been “top of the pops” in the Light Tourist class. In addition to offering outstanding value for money, it has definite eye appeal—plus several features which you can get only on a B.S.A. The contour chainguard, for example, with its duo-tone finish, gives the machine a light, modern look, whilst the steel mudguards, with flat centre rib in a contrasting colour, are really smart. Frame sizes are 19½ in., 21 in. or 23 in.
Colours: Electric blue with ice blue trim, or carmine and cream.

The B.S.A. Golden Team of Sports machines—long famous among sporting riders — now has completely new and modern frame design, with wrap-over seat stays, modern style lugs and new colour styling. The Gold Crest—the lowest priced model in the range—is just the model for the young club rider. It is offered in three frame sizes—21½”, 22½” and 23½” (Ladies’ 21½” only) and is available with either dropped or all-rounder bar. Sturmey-Archer 4-speed or Benelux 5-speed are optional extras.
