SALON DU CYCLE 1954 — PORTE DE VERSAILLES

Stand N° 11

WOLBER

PNEUS VÉLO – CYCLOMOTEUR – MOTO – SCOOTER —:— BOYAUX

[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a wide low panel set in a single thin rule, text only with no drawing. The top line reads across the full width in widely spaced light sans-serif capitals. A short stand line in bold sans serif sits at the center right, set small under the top line. The name “WOLBER” stands at the center in very heavy black capitals, each letter inside its own outlined square box with a solid shadow falling to the lower right so that the six letters read as separate blocks. A line of condensed bold capitals runs along the foot of the panel, with the separator between the two groups drawn as two short dashes with a colon between them. The stand number is printed as the roman numerals “II”. No address line, no artist signature and no agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 210 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Rigid, held here as its own record, and others for Leda knee grips for scooters and the FAC motorcycle trailer.]
