[An upright ruled advertisement in black on the cream stock, the panel closed by a thin rule and divided near the foot by two further rules. “Cycles” and “Cyclomoteurs” are set in a light sans-serif upper and lower case, stepped to the right, with “RENOV” below them in very large heavy sans-serif capitals. At the center a cyclomoteur is reproduced in halftone from a photograph, in left side view and standing on its stand: a cycle frame with a sloping top tube and a flat tank slung in the frame triangle, a sprung saddle, flat handlebars with a small lamp at the head, a rear carrier, mudguards over both spoked wheels, pedals and chain, and a small engine with its cylinder and carburetor at the bottom bracket, exhaust running forward and down. Below the picture two lines of light italic capitals give the selling claim. The engine line runs across the panel in heavy condensed sans-serif with the capacity figures large and “cmc” raised, and the street address, town and telephone follow on one line, with the last line, in letter-spaced bold capitals, reserving sale to patented agents. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and nothing shows through from the reverse of the leaf; the left edge of the sheet curves into the binding beside the panel.]

[This advertisement shares page 106 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Idéale, Idéale and Delangle, each held here as its own record.]
