[An advertisement in a plain rectangular frame, wider than tall. “VELOCISTES…” opens the text in large italic capitals, underlined, followed by the sales line in condensed roman and the catalog request in bold italic. At the lower left is a line drawing of an adult pedal tricycle seen from the side: a step-through (open) frame with a single front wheel, two rear wheels on a cross axle, mudguards, a sprung saddle and swept-back handlebars. The firm’s name and address are set at the lower right. There is no signature or agency mark. The right side of the frame runs toward the binding in the photograph, but no printed word is lost.]
[This advertisement shares page 138 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Bernardon, Ruhier, Larpenteur, Clément Italie, Marcel Guillen and JB, each held here as its own record, and others for Indor sewing-machine needles, ROB compressors and Omega sewing machines.]
