PHÉBUS
PARIS
[Signed at the lower right:] H. GRAY. C.F.
[Printer’s line under it:] Cie Fse des PAPIERS-MONNAIE . . PARIS.
[A dark blue sheet with a cream paper margin. At the top PHÉBUS in large cream capitals stands in a burst of silver rays. A winged woman with long red-gold hair falls head first through the middle of the sheet, her legs kicked up at the left and one arm stretched down to the right, her hand reaching for a bicycle wheel that tumbles at the foot. The wheel is a motor wheel: a small finned, air-cooled single-cylinder engine with its flywheel is mounted inside the spokes. PARIS in cream capitals stands at the lower left.]
