[A full-page advertisement printed in red, green and black on a pale ground, with no ruled border. Down the left side runs a tall red vertical band; “PROGRAMME” is set in it in outlined, shaded roman capitals and “1955” in solid black slab capitals, both reading upward. A thick black diagonal stripe descends through the center of the sheet, and five halftone photographs hang from it, each in a slightly tilted green frame with a hand-brushed edge and set alternately to the right and left of the stripe. Each caption sits beneath or beside its photograph with a red triangular arrow pointing to it; headings are in bold slab-serif capitals and the body text in a light geometric sans serif, centered in short lines. The photographs show, from top to bottom, a lady’s-frame moped with a rear rack, a telescopic-fork motorcycle with a spring saddle and a number plate, a larger motorcycle with a number plate on the front fender, a two-seat scooter with an enclosed body and white-wall tires, and a three-wheeled delivery vehicle with a rear luggage platform with rails. The firm’s name stands at the lower left in a black oval: “Cycles” in small white script above “Peugeot” in large white script lettering, with the address “Beaulieu-Valentigney (Doubs)” in a green strip across the base of the oval. Beneath it “HALL DU CYCLE” and “Stand 101” appear in spaced capitals, and the closing line about the stainless bicycles is set at the foot of the right side beside a pair of slanted green strokes. A small boxed monogram appears at the lower left margin, below the red band. No artist signature is seen. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through near the lower margin.]
