[A ruled advertisement set in type and trademark work, with no drawing or photograph, inside a plain black rule. Two fans of close-ruled fine lines are printed inside the frame, one filling the upper left corner and one the lower right, each sloping so that the lines run from the corner toward the middle of the panel. The list of goods occupies the upper two thirds in seven centered lines of widely letter-spaced light sans-serif capitals, and three further lines about transmissions are ranged to the right below them. The marque sits at the lower left as a solid black disc carrying the letters “OS” reserved in white, the O drawn as a thick ring and the S cutting across it. Under the disc a solid black band shaped as a leaning parallelogram runs the width of the panel; the disc overlaps it, and reversed out of it in white are the name “SEIGNOL” in large bold sans-serif capitals at the right, one line of small bold capitals giving the works and offices, the street address and the telephone number, and the town “NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE” in large bold capitals. Below the band, at the lower left and set very small in spaced capitals, is the agency mark “PUB-NOVIA”. Two lines of small italic capitals close the panel at the foot, giving the stand at the Grand Palais and the stand at the Porte de Versailles. No type from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 130 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Ruche and Roll’s, each held here as its own record, and one for the Cyclemaster motor wheel.]
