NIELD CYCLE PUMP LOCK.
Patent No. 555662.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING.
1.—Take the half (A) of clip and place the larger curve on frame of cycle adjacent to pump, the smaller curve against pump.
Callouts: A B C
2.—Now pass the screw (which should be through the top half of clip B), between the pump and frame so that the screw can engage the other half of clip A.
3.—Screw up tight, fold over hinge C, and padlock together. Your pump will then be absolutely safe.
4.—Should the screw eye be in the wrong position when clip is tight on pump, then insert padlock to turn screw half turn extra so that the flat on the screw corresponds with the hinge portion. This extra pressure will not damage pump.
It is not necessary, but better, to fit clip against handle of pump.
