[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a single framed panel taller than it is wide, made of type alone with no drawings. The headline “TOUR DE FRANCE” stands across the head in large light roman capitals, with “Championnat du Monde” in lowercase roman below it. The winner’s line follows, “1er” with a raised “er” in heavy sans-serif type and the rider’s name in heavy capitals. The bicycle make is set in small spaced sans-serif capitals with an italic capital line under it. The brand name “DERWI’S” fills the width in enormous solid black condensed capitals. Beneath it the maker’s name is set in a large italic and the address in lighter spaced roman, and the last two lines list the products in bold sans-serif type with dashes between them. No artist signature is visible and no text shows through from the reverse of the leaf.]

[This advertisement shares page 168 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Canetti and Éclair, each held here as its own record.]
