This is a magazine article, so its running text is summarized here rather than reproduced; the headline, byline, specifications and scores are transcribed as printed.
From L’Officiel du cycle, du motocycle et du camping, 1 October 1955, N° 20, the paper’s special number before the Salon du Cycle at the Porte de Versailles, page 44: sovexia telescopic forks for cyclomoteur 50 cc and vélomoteur 98 or 100 cc, photograph of two forks; also fork blades and stays for men’s, women’s and children’s bicycles. The title, headings, captions and lists are transcribed as printed; the text is summarized in Ebykr’s words, and the page images carry it in full.

Les fourches télescopiques SOVEXIA
[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. For some years a number of large French marques have adopted the Sovexia telescopic forks, made by the Établissements Souvignet et Fils, whose modern factory at Saint-Bonnet-le-Château (Loire) has first-class tooling. The well-studied Sovexia telescopic fork, for cyclomoteur 50 cm3 and vélomoteur 98 or 100 cm3, is entirely demountable. No important joint is made by welding or brazing, so as to avoid annealing of the metal, its distortion and weak points, and any part can be replaced quickly at the least cost. The notice continues in the next column.]
[A text-only editorial notice set in a single column. A bold roman heading, “Les fourches télescopiques SOVEXIA”, stands at the top right, right-aligned, with the marque name in heavier capitals. The body below is set in italic roman type in two paragraphs with indented first lines, the firm name Souvignet in small capitals and the phrases “nombre de grandes marques françaises” and “la fourche télescopique Sovexia, pour cyclomoteur 50 cm3 et vélomoteur 98 ou 100 cm3” in bold roman. The text breaks off at the foot of the crop, mid-notice. There are no drawings or photographs in this part and no signature or agency mark.]

[Ebykr summary, continuing the Sovexia notice from the first image; the article’s text is not reproduced. Suspension is by two springs, with great suppleness and great travel, and the same springs give the fork a softened rebound. Sliding takes place perfectly on very resistant plastic bushes, with no upkeep or greasing. The fork legs are joined by a light-alloy bridge that makes the whole assembly extremely rigid, shares the load equally between the two legs, and spares the hub axle a bending stress that could break it. The fork was tried on the factory test benches and officially for 200 hours on those of the U.T.A.C., and has proved itself on all roads, in particular on the cobbled roads of the North. The fork for cyclomoteurs, like the Sovexia Junior, is supplied in two dimensions between the dropouts:]
SX 96 pour moyeux de 96 de largeur avec freins à patins ;
SX 105 — 100 à 105 de largeur avec freins tambour.
[Ebykr summary, continued. For the Sovexia Junior for 50 cm3 cyclomoteur the notice gives these characteristics: the tubes are assembled with the plates by a mechanical clamping system, to avoid any distorting welds or brazing; the two legs, with flattened and cut-out ends, are joined by a tubular hoop by two light-alloy clamp collars; the hoop takes the mudguard and the cable stop; sliding is tube within tube; suspension is by two compression springs, and two other springs give a softened rebound; all parts of the fork are easily replaceable. The flattened, cut-out legs and the hoop are supplied chromed, with brazed lugs. Dismantling and reassembly of this fork are extremely simple and quick and save manufacturers considerable time. The Établissements Souvignet et Fils are also specialized in making fork blades and stays in all series for men’s, women’s and children’s bicycles and for cyclomoteurs. All Sovexia products will be found at the Salon du Cycle, stand 312.]
[A text-only column of an editorial notice with one illustration, continuing from the first image. The body is set in italic roman type in short paragraphs with indented first lines, with the phrases “grande souplesse”, “grande course”, “ensemble excessivement rigide”, “la Sovexia Junior pour cyclomoteur 50 cm3”, “fourreaux, haubans toutes séries” and a whole closing passage on dismantling and reassembly in bold roman; the two dimension lines are set as a small table in the middle. Below them a ruled square panel holds two halftone photographs of telescopic forks, one above the other, each shown at a slant: the upper fork has two slim tubes joined by a U-shaped hoop at the top and a small block with pins at the upper end; the lower one has two tubes wrapped with coil springs and a cross-bridge near the top. A solid black dot closes the notice at the foot. No signature or agency mark appears.]
