LE ROUTIER SELLIER TRAVERSE SON PAYS, GEMBLOUX, VERS LA FIN DE LA COURSE PARIS-BRUXELLES
A ce moment, Van Hecke est encore en tête ; mais Sellier fonce à toute allure sur lui. A Namur, il avait douze minutes de retard sur son compatriote ; à Gembloux, il n’en a plus que cinq. Il passera Van Hecke avant Wavre, à une vitesse extraordinaire, et il mettra 16 h. 11′ 25″ pour effectuer les 400 kilomètres du dur parcours, sous la pluie presque continue et sur les routes détrempées.
