LES SOUVENIRS D’ANDRE LEDUCQ

MOTOS – CYCLOMOTEURS – SCOOTERS

N° 119 – MAI 1971 – 25e ANNEE – PRIX : 3 F.

[The yellow front cover carries a color photograph of a smiling blonde young woman in a glossy red jacket, red belt, gray skirt and red boots, seated on an early pedal velocipede of the boneshaker type and waving with her raised right hand, in front of the white-painted board wall of a house with lace-curtained windows and climbing ivy. The machine has wooden-spoked wheels with iron tires, the front wheel slightly the larger and carrying the cranks and a mudguard. Above the photograph the black LE CYCLE masthead sweeps its large C, outlined in blue, into a blue band of black silhouettes of riders on two bicycles, two mopeds, a scooter and a motorcycle; the boxed cover line at top right and the band and foot line below are printed in green on yellow. The NOTRE COUVERTURE caption on page 7 of the issue names the sitter as the singer Isabelle Aubrey and the machine as an antique MICHAUX.]
