[A smiling boy on a bicycle looks back over his shoulder at the upper left while a helmeted motorcyclist rides toward him at the upper right, and a close drawing of a bicycle rear hub fitted with a drum brake fills the lower right: the brake drum and its reaction arm clamped to the chainstay, the chain and sprocket, the spokes and the axle nut. The qualities of the brake are reversed out in a black column at the left, separated by dots, and the firm’s address is reversed out of a black band at the foot beside a small white box offering the technical catalog. The agency mark PubliCYCLE runs up the upper left edge, the drawing is signed “Rebour” in script inside his ruled monogram, slanting upward to the right just below the chain at the lower right of the hub drawing, and a line of tiny initials too small to read sits just below it in the lower right corner of the drawing.]
[This advertisement shares page 26 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for the Motostop brake-light switch, Floquet pistons and Mérat pillion seats.]
