Le Belge Thys, sur sa bicyclette Peugeot, a remporté le Tour de France, couvrant les 5.400 kilomètres du parcours en 197 h. 54 m. 1 s. C’est la cinquième fois depuis sa fondation que le Tour de France est gagné sur bicyclette Peugeot.
