Il XLII Giro d’Italia. Sono partiti da Milano i concorrenti alla più popolare (e faticosa) competizione ciclistica dell’anno. Nella tavola a colori sono raffigurati i corridori per i quali sono stati formulati i pronostici più favorevoli. The rider at center left wears the rainbow bands of the world champion on a white jersey; others wear blue and white stripes, red and white, black and white, yellow, and the green and white Italian jersey at lower right.
