[A ruled landscape advertisement printed in black and a vermilion red. The head is a single band of type: “Le Guidon” in red condensed letters, “KIPRIM” in very large red sans-serif capitals, and two lines of bold italic black at the right; beneath it a long line in light roman and a line of bold italic follow. At the lower left a thin-ruled box holds a halftone photograph of the front of a motorized bicycle seen close up: a handlebar with a brake lever and grip, the fork, a small engine with finned cylinder, and a round black tank lettered “Solex” in script, with a curved tubular bumper wrapped around the lower front of the tank above the front tire. Red and black type set in the box around the photograph gives the new bumper’s name and details, separated by three small stars. At the right the list of luggage racks, bumpers and aprons is set in heavy black sans-serif capitals with lighter roman lines and a few red italic phrases underlined in red. The foot carries the proprietor’s name in large red spaced type, the street and telephone number under a red rule, and the town at the right. There is no artist signature and no show-through from the reverse of the leaf.]
