[A ruled text advertisement with one drawing, enclosed in a thin rule. The words Les Selles stand in a flowing script across the head. Beneath them a saddle is drawn in line engraving with fine hatching, seen from below at an angle with its nose to the left: the underside shows an oval plate stamped with the maker’s name and a model number, two small round rivet plates, the clip and bolt block and the bent rails. The maker’s name stands in very large heavy condensed capitals, with the two saddle names in the same face beneath it. The list of victories is set in bold slab capitals with the event types in light parentheses, divided from the closing lines by a short rule. The last two lines are a script phrase and the words Matière Plastique in a wide light roman face. The small lettering on the saddle’s plate is only partly legible. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 80 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Amac carburetors and motorcycle parts and Sido equipment for the motorcyclist.]
