Quality & Economy
These three Clubrider frames are built to a fixed specification which we know will suit most people. Sizes range from 20″ to 24″ except for the Clublady which starts at 18½ “. No alterations to these specifications can be made except for additional brazed fittings and paintwork. These prices are additional and given in the Repairs and Renovations list
Harrier
Reynolds 531 tubing, short point cutout lugs, microcast fork crown and Agratti drop outs built with a short wheelbase and racing geometry, clearances for 700C wheels without mudguards, for the budget conscious rider. Fitted for twelve speeds with gear lever pip, underbracket tunnels, allan key brakes, cable guides and stops. Complete with headset and chrome seat bolt finished in stove enamel to your choice of colour.
Osprey
Similar specification to the Roadman but with mudguard clearance and touring geometry for a more comfortable ride over those longer distances. Also fitted with single bottle nuts and rear carrier eyes. Complete with headset and chrome seat bolt, finished in stove enamel to your choice of colour

Hawk
Columbus Matrix tubing, short point lugs, short rake forks and Columbus track ends build up into a short, strong, responsive track frame for the keen beginner or experienced rider alike. Close clearance for Sprints or 700C wheels, no brazed fittings or brake drillings, allan key seat bolt. Complete with headset, chrome seat bolt and finished in stove enamel to your choice of colour

Front eccentric bottom bracket and skillful building ensure maximum chain adjustment. Brazed on double lever bosses or eyes for handlebar control, all cable slides, guides and stops, double bottle nuts, pump pegs, pannier bosses and mudguard eyes, allan key rear seat bolt and brake fitting with optional cantilever brake bosses. Sport Tandem
Reynolds 531 double butted tubing with oval ‘drain pipe’ and twin lateral construction for strength and rigidity. A curved rear seat tube gives this tandem a remarkably short wheelbase and close clearances so important for responsive competitive riding. Prugnat special long point lugs, microcast Aero fork crown, Campag Super Record or Shimano Vertical dropouts, concealed rear brake cable in top tubes and rear gear cable through chain stay for that clean look. When Harry Quinn started his cycle shop in 1890 little did he realise that he was founding a family business that would stretch three generations.
We are proud to be still making hand built frames nearly 100 years later and carrying on the tradition of craft, quality and workmanship started all those years ago.
Over the years our cycles have been ridden in all major national and international events and have won honours in:

All bur frames are built with Reynolds or Columbus tubing — or any other quality tubing to suit your specification. And we use top quality components. The 753 frames are silver brazed so as to maintain the strength of the tubing. In fact we were only the second builder in the world to receive approval from Reynolds to use this fine tubing.
Finish is always highest quality stove enamel, flamboyant, polychromatic or the latest opalescent paints. Of course you choose the colour, and you can choose chrome plating.
Being a custom builder in the unique tradition of British craft every frame is built to order. This brochure can only give you some idea of the possibilities open to you. Nothing is ‘off the shelf.’ Everything is as you want it. And remember — we can build complete cycles with components of your choice.

Reynolds 531C tubing, * double curved seat tube for ultra short rear triangle and compact frame. Shimano vertical dropouts, microcast bottom bracket and integral fork crown with Harry Quinn logo, neat short point lugs and ‘shoot in’ seat stays. Brazed on gear lever boss, cable guides and stops and under bracket tunnel. Allan key seat and brake fitting, complete with headset and finished in your choice of colour. Suitable for 5/6 speeds only.
Medalist Low Profile
Reynolds 531C tubing,* Columbus lugs, microcast bottom bracket and fancy engraved aero fork crown and ‘short rake’ blades fitted with Shimano vertical dropouts. Allan key seat and brake fittings, brazed on lever boss and tunnel under bottom bracket, concealed rear brake cable in top tube. Built for 700C, 650C or 600C size front wheels. Complete with headset and finished in your choice of colour. Recommended for 5/6 speed only. Also available as a track frame.
Trophy Low Profile
Columbus SL ‘Kronos’ tubing, similar to the Medalist but with curved top and seat tubes to make a very short frame with wheelbase starting from 35”. The ultimate in low profile frames. Concealed rear brake and gear cables, available for 700C, 650C or 600C size front wheels. Complete with Tange New Levin headset and finished in your choice of colour. Suitable for 5/6 speeds only. The Trophy makes an excellent track frame.
