[A smiling gray-haired man in a brown jacket and a pale shirt and a blond woman in a white blouse with puffed sleeves and a navy skirt ride side by side on bicycles with white tires down a pale sandy road. Wheat fields and a village church lie behind, and the road bends away to the upper right, where a small gendarme in a blue-green coat and a cocked hat tumbles headlong after them with his sword in the air. CYCLES GLADIATOR is lettered in tall red letters outlined in white across the top left.
The joke is the chase: the gendarme is left behind by the pair on the Gladiator bicycles. The sheet gives no address and names no dealer.]
