[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a wide low panel set in a single thin rule, text only with no drawing. “Les Ets FOUGERAT” opens the head in heavy shaded roman capitals and lower case, followed on the same line by “de Neuvy-sur-Loire (Nièvre)” in a plain sans serif. Below it “sont toujours en tête des fabrications de” is set in a slanted script face, then “CAOUTCHOUC MANUFACTURÉ” fills the full width in very heavy black sans-serif capitals. A short line in italic capitals, “POUR”, leads into “CYCLES — MOTOS — SCOOTERS” in bold grotesque capitals separated by dashes. At the lower left three short lines of italic sans-serif invite the reader to consult the firm. At the lower right “Marques :” in italic is followed by the three brand names stacked and right aligned in widely spaced heavy capitals, REMEMBER, SPHINX and REM. A small star-shaped ornament sits in the empty middle of the lower band. No address line, no signature and no agency mark appear, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 204 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Mérat, held here as its own record, and others for Celliose paint and Autol engine decarbonizing.]
