[A wide, shallow advertisement in a plain thin frame running across the full width of the page. Two line drawings of right-hand chainsets flank the text, each a single toothed chainring with its crank hanging straight down: at the left a ring with a five-arm star spider, at the right a three-arm spider with the arms bolted to the ring and decorative cut-outs, the crank arm carrying tiny lettering that cannot be read at this scale. The center is type set in spaced roman capitals, with “PROFESSIONNELS” in white condensed letters on a black cartouche with scalloped ends. There is no signature or agency mark on either drawing. Print from the reverse of the leaf shows faintly through the paper.]
[This advertisement shares page 140 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Plasoline, CVF, Birdo and Mulin, each held here as its own record, and others for the A.L.C. cable lock of Éts Lecoeuvre, the Héloïsa speedometer (no vehicle named) and Dupont’s motorized invalid carriage.]
