Kingpin
Hinge Model KP500BH
This amazing cycle goes where others can’t: in a car boot, in a cupboard, on a boat — wherever space is limited. Folds and unfolds in seconds. The immensely strong hinge is genuine forged steel and should not be confused with cheap, unreliable pressed hinges.

KP18
Popular junior version suitable for boys and girls from seven to eleven years. Single speed but with most of the adult version’s built-in features. Colours as specification chart.

This is the ultimate in small wheel unisex cycles. With its superior designed frame and various light alloy components, it stands head and shoulders above the rest. Among its many outstanding features are ball bearings throughout, easily adjustable, finger-operated handlebar and seat positions, and 500A comfort tyres for added ease and mobility. A sporty machine for the fairer sex. Available in two choices of frame design and handlebars, Maes dropped or raised allrounder. Conventional frame (as illustrated) or twin lateral of continental design with straight, small diameter tubes from head to rear dropout giving a frame almost as rigid as a man’s version.

FRAME MATERIALS
All frame and fork materials used in the construction of our cycles are of high carbon British Steel tubing conforming to British Standard Specifications, with tapered and domed stays and fork blades. All hand-built and brazed, fittings bronze welded. Lugs of highest grade, feature cut for lightness and brazing strength. Hand filed and polished before rust proofing with I.C.I. phosphating process. Every frame is finished with at least three coats of enamel and laquer, hard stoved for maximum durability and richness of colour.
