[A wide, low advertising strip in black and white. Most of it is a solid dark panel with the lettering reversed out in light tones. At the upper left a light, slanted banner shaped like a bent arrow, angled toward the lower right, carries three lines of italic-slanted text about the Salon stand. The brand “D’Alessandro” fills the center and right in large flowing script capitals and lowercase, drawn with a shaded drop edge of fine diagonal hatching, and the bold italic word “BOYAUX” stands above its right end. Three lines of heavy spaced capitals, each indented differently, run beneath it. A single line of condensed capitals in dark type on the light ground under the panel gives the distributors, their street, town and telephone number. Thin vertical rules run down the left and right margins outside the panel. No artist signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]
